These Terms of Service ("Terms", "Terms of Service", or "Agreement") govern your access to and use of the PP Expense application, website, and related services operated under the Publicity Poster brand.

By downloading, installing, accessing, subscribing to, or using PP Expense, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not use PP Expense.

Please read these Terms carefully before using the application.

1. About PP Expense

PP Expense is a personal finance and expense-management application developed and operated under the Publicity Poster brand.

PP Expense provides tools that may allow users to:

  • Record expenses
  • Record income
  • Record transfers
  • Manage transactions
  • Create and manage budgets
  • Create custom categories
  • Add payment methods
  • Add notes and tags
  • View financial reports and summaries
  • Search and filter transactions
  • Use AI-assisted Quick Add functionality
  • Export financial information
  • Create and restore backups
  • Use Google Drive backup and restore
  • Use Google Sign-In
  • Purchase optional subscription plans
  • Access an ad-free experience through eligible subscription plans
  • Use other features introduced in future versions

Features may change, be added, modified, suspended, or discontinued at any time.

2. Eligibility

You may use PP Expense only if you are legally capable of entering into a binding agreement under applicable law.

By using PP Expense, you represent that:

  • You have the legal capacity to accept these Terms;
  • The information you provide is accurate to the best of your knowledge;
  • You will use PP Expense in compliance with applicable laws;
  • You will not use PP Expense for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or unauthorized purposes.

If you are using PP Expense on behalf of another person, organization, business, or entity, you represent that you have appropriate authority to do so.

3. Acceptance of These Terms

By installing, accessing, or using PP Expense, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, please stop using the application and uninstall it from your device.

Your continued use of PP Expense after changes to these Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

4. License to Use PP Expense

Subject to these Terms, Publicity Poster grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to use PP Expense for your personal or legitimate internal business purposes.

This license does not transfer ownership of PP Expense or any intellectual property to you.

You may not:

  • Copy the application except where permitted by applicable law;
  • Modify or create derivative versions of the application;
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to obtain the source code, except to the extent such restriction is prohibited by applicable law;
  • Remove copyright, trademark, attribution, or other proprietary notices;
  • Sell, rent, lease, sublicense, or redistribute PP Expense;
  • Use PP Expense to create a competing product using protected proprietary elements;
  • Circumvent technical restrictions or security mechanisms;
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to PP Expense systems;
  • Use automated methods to abuse or overload PP Expense services.

Any rights not expressly granted under these Terms remain with Publicity Poster and its licensors.

5. Your Financial Data

PP Expense allows you to enter and manage your own financial information.

You retain responsibility for the information you enter into the application.

This may include:

  • Expenses
  • Income
  • Transfers
  • Transaction amounts
  • Budgets
  • Categories
  • Payment methods
  • Notes
  • Tags
  • Financial records
  • Other information you voluntarily enter

You are solely responsible for ensuring that the information entered into PP Expense is accurate and appropriate for your intended use.

PP Expense does not independently verify your financial records.

We are not responsible for losses resulting from:

  • Incorrect information entered by you;
  • Incorrect categorization;
  • Incorrect transaction amounts;
  • Missing transactions;
  • Incorrect dates;
  • User mistakes;
  • Incorrect budget settings;
  • Incorrect financial calculations resulting from incorrect input;
  • Failure to maintain backups;
  • Loss or corruption of locally stored information;
  • Reliance on reports or calculations without independent verification.

6. PP Expense Is Not a Financial Advisor

PP Expense is a software tool for recording, organizing, calculating, and presenting financial information.

PP Expense is not:

  • A bank;
  • A financial institution;
  • A lender;
  • An investment advisor;
  • A financial advisor;
  • A tax advisor;
  • An accountant;
  • A broker;
  • An insurance advisor;
  • A credit provider;
  • A payment institution;
  • A professional financial service.

Information, calculations, reports, summaries, suggestions, AI-generated interpretations, budget information, or other content displayed by PP Expense are provided for informational and organizational purposes only.

You should independently verify important financial information and obtain professional advice from a qualified financial, tax, accounting, legal, or investment professional where appropriate.

You are solely responsible for your financial decisions.

7. Accuracy of Calculations and Reports

PP Expense may provide calculations, summaries, charts, reports, budget calculations, spending analysis, and other financial information.

Although we aim to provide reliable functionality, we do not guarantee that every calculation, report, chart, summary, or result will always be completely accurate or error-free.

Results may depend on:

  • Information entered by the user;
  • Application configuration;
  • Device behavior;
  • Software updates;
  • Calculation logic;
  • Data integrity;
  • User settings;
  • Technical limitations.

You should verify important financial information before relying on it for financial, tax, accounting, business, or legal decisions.

8. AI Features

PP Expense may provide AI-assisted functionality, including AI Quick Add and other AI-powered features introduced in future versions.

AI-generated or AI-assisted results may contain:

  • Errors;
  • Incorrect interpretations;
  • Incorrect categorization;
  • Missing information;
  • Unexpected results;
  • Inaccurate suggestions.

AI functionality is intended to assist you and should not be treated as a replacement for human judgment or professional advice.

You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated information before saving or relying on it.

We do not guarantee that AI-generated results will always be accurate, complete, appropriate, or suitable for your particular financial circumstances.

9. Offline Functionality

PP Expense is designed as an offline-first application.

Core functionality may operate without an active internet connection.

However, certain features may require internet access, including:

  • Google Sign-In;
  • Google Drive backup and restore;
  • Subscription or payment verification;
  • Advertisements;
  • Support requests;
  • Analytics and diagnostics;
  • Other online or server-dependent functionality.

Temporary or permanent loss of internet connectivity may therefore prevent certain features from functioning.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of any online feature.

10. Google Sign-In

PP Expense may allow you to sign in using your Google Account.

Google Sign-In is an optional feature where available.

Your use of Google Sign-In is also subject to Google's applicable terms and policies.

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the security of your Google Account;
  • Protecting your Google Account credentials;
  • Preventing unauthorized access;
  • Reviewing Google's applicable terms and privacy policies.

PP Expense does not ask you to provide your Google Account password directly to us.

We are not responsible for unauthorized access resulting from compromised Google Account credentials or your failure to secure your account.

11. Google Drive Backup and Restore

PP Expense may provide Google Drive backup and restore functionality.

If you choose to use this feature, you authorize PP Expense to access and process the Google Drive information necessary to provide the requested backup or restore functionality.

You are responsible for:

  • Authorizing the correct Google Account;
  • Maintaining access to your Google Account;
  • Maintaining sufficient Google Drive storage;
  • Protecting your Google Account;
  • Reviewing your backups;
  • Deleting unwanted backups where appropriate.

We do not guarantee that every backup or restore operation will always succeed.

Backup or restore operations may fail because of:

  • Internet connectivity;
  • Google service availability;
  • Storage limitations;
  • Permission changes;
  • API limitations;
  • Account restrictions;
  • Corrupted backup files;
  • Application errors;
  • Changes to third-party services.

You should maintain an independent backup of important financial information.

12. Data Backup Responsibility

PP Expense may provide backup and export functionality, but you remain responsible for maintaining appropriate backups of important information.

We strongly recommend maintaining more than one copy of important financial records.

We are not responsible for loss of information resulting from:

  • Device failure;
  • Device theft or loss;
  • Accidental deletion;
  • Application uninstallation;
  • Operating-system changes;
  • Factory reset;
  • Storage failure;
  • Corrupted data;
  • Failed backup;
  • Failed restore;
  • Third-party cloud-service failure;
  • Google Account problems;
  • User error;
  • Malware;
  • Unauthorized access;
  • Circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

The availability of a backup feature does not constitute a guarantee that your data will always be recoverable.

13. Data Export

PP Expense may allow you to export financial information in formats such as JSON or CSV.

You are responsible for:

  • Reviewing exported information;
  • Storing exported files securely;
  • Protecting exported files from unauthorized access;
  • Deleting exported files when they are no longer required.

Exported files may contain sensitive financial information.

Publicity Poster is not responsible for the security or privacy of copies of your information after you export, download, copy, email, upload, or otherwise transfer them outside PP Expense-controlled systems.

14. Subscriptions

PP Expense may offer monthly and yearly subscription plans.

Subscription benefits, pricing, billing periods, features, and availability will be presented at the applicable purchase screen or other official PP Expense communication.

Subscription benefits may include an ad-free experience and other features specified at the time of purchase.

We reserve the right to modify subscription features, provided that applicable legal requirements and any applicable existing subscription commitments are respected.

15. Subscription Activation

After a successful subscription purchase, PP Expense may verify the transaction and subscription status before activating the applicable benefits.

Activation may require an internet connection.

A delay in activation may occur because of:

  • Payment-provider delays;
  • Network problems;
  • Technical errors;
  • Verification delays;
  • Third-party service availability;
  • Account synchronization issues.

You should not repeatedly purchase a subscription merely because activation is temporarily delayed.

16. Payments

Payments may be processed through Razorpay or another payment service provider used by PP Expense.

Your use of a payment provider is also subject to that provider's terms and policies.

Publicity Poster does not intentionally request or store complete payment authentication credentials such as card CVV, banking passwords, or UPI authentication credentials.

Payment providers may independently process payment information necessary to complete your transaction.

17. Subscription Renewal and Cancellation

Subscription renewal, cancellation, billing frequency, and payment terms will depend on the purchase method and payment provider used for your subscription.

You are responsible for reviewing the subscription information displayed before completing a purchase.

If recurring billing is enabled for your purchase, you are responsible for cancelling the subscription before the next applicable billing period if you no longer wish to continue.

Deleting or uninstalling the PP Expense application does not necessarily cancel an active subscription.

You must use the applicable subscription or payment-management mechanism to cancel recurring billing.

18. Refunds

Refunds for subscriptions or purchases are governed by our separate Refund & Cancellation Policy, together with any applicable payment-provider rules and mandatory consumer-protection laws.

Nothing in these Terms excludes any refund or consumer right that cannot legally be excluded.

19. Advertising

The free version of PP Expense may contain advertisements provided through third-party advertising services, including Google AdMob.

Advertisements may vary depending on factors such as:

  • Device;
  • Location;
  • Advertising configuration;
  • User choices;
  • Applicable laws;
  • Availability of advertisements;
  • Third-party advertising systems.

Publicity Poster does not endorse every product, service, advertiser, or offer that may appear through third-party advertising.

You should independently evaluate advertisements and offers before purchasing or using third-party products or services.

20. Ad-Free Subscription

Eligible subscription plans may remove advertisements from PP Expense.

The exact features included in an ad-free subscription will be described at the time of purchase.

An ad-free subscription does not necessarily disable every form of technical communication, analytics, diagnostics, security processing, or network activity required for other application functionality.

21. Analytics and Diagnostics

PP Expense may provide analytics and diagnostics functionality.

Where available, users may be provided with controls to enable or disable optional analytics and diagnostics.

Technical information may be processed to:

  • Identify crashes;
  • Diagnose errors;
  • Improve performance;
  • Improve application stability;
  • Understand general feature usage;
  • Improve the application.

Analytics and diagnostics should not be interpreted as a guarantee that no technical information will ever be processed, particularly where information is necessary for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or operation of the service.

22. User Content

You remain responsible for content and information that you enter, upload, export, submit, or otherwise provide through PP Expense.

You agree not to use PP Expense to store, transmit, or distribute content that:

  • Is unlawful;
  • Is fraudulent;
  • Infringes intellectual property rights;
  • Violates another person's privacy;
  • Contains malicious code;
  • Attempts to compromise security;
  • Facilitates illegal activity;
  • Harasses, threatens, or abuses others;
  • Violates applicable law;
  • Violates these Terms.

We reserve the right to take reasonable action regarding content or activity that violates these Terms or applicable law.

23. Acceptable Use

You agree to use PP Expense only for lawful purposes.

You must not:

  • Attempt unauthorized access to PP Expense;
  • Attempt to bypass authentication;
  • Attempt to circumvent security mechanisms;
  • Reverse engineer protected components;
  • Exploit application vulnerabilities;
  • Introduce malware or malicious code;
  • Conduct denial-of-service attacks;
  • Abuse APIs or online services;
  • Scrape or systematically extract protected information;
  • Interfere with the operation of PP Expense;
  • Use PP Expense for fraudulent purposes;
  • Use PP Expense to facilitate money laundering or other illegal activity;
  • Impersonate Publicity Poster or another person;
  • Misrepresent your identity or authority;
  • Use PP Expense in a manner that violates applicable laws.

24. Intellectual Property

PP Expense and its associated materials are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Unless otherwise stated, Publicity Poster owns or has appropriate rights to:

  • PP Expense software;
  • Application design;
  • User interface;
  • Branding;
  • Logos;
  • Graphics;
  • Website content;
  • Text;
  • Documentation;
  • Software architecture;
  • Original content;
  • Other proprietary materials.

The PP Expense name, Publicity Poster name, logos, trademarks, service marks, and branding may not be used without appropriate authorization.

Nothing in these Terms grants you ownership of our intellectual property.

25. User Feedback

If you provide suggestions, ideas, feature requests, reviews, or other feedback about PP Expense, you agree that we may use such feedback to improve or develop our products and services without owing you compensation, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

You retain ownership of any rights that legally remain yours in the feedback.

You should not submit confidential information that you do not want us to receive.

26. Third-Party Services

PP Expense may depend on or integrate with third-party services, including:

  • Google;
  • Google Play;
  • Google Sign-In;
  • Google Drive;
  • Google AdMob;
  • Razorpay;
  • Analytics or diagnostics providers;
  • Hosting or infrastructure providers;
  • Other third-party services.

Third-party services are operated independently and may have their own:

  • Terms of service;
  • Privacy policies;
  • Service limitations;
  • Availability requirements;
  • Pricing;
  • Technical restrictions.

We are not responsible for the independent operation, availability, security, policies, or practices of third-party services.

Changes, interruptions, restrictions, or termination of third-party services may affect corresponding PP Expense functionality.

27. Third-Party Links and Content

PP Expense or our website may contain links to third-party websites, services, advertisements, or resources.

These links are provided for convenience.

We do not control third-party websites or services and do not guarantee:

  • Their accuracy;
  • Availability;
  • Security;
  • Content;
  • Privacy practices;
  • Products;
  • Services;
  • Prices;
  • Offers.

Your interaction with third-party websites or services is at your own risk and is subject to their applicable terms and policies.

28. Application Availability

We aim to keep PP Expense available and functional, but we do not guarantee that:

  • PP Expense will always be available;
  • Every feature will always work;
  • The application will be completely error-free;
  • The application will never experience downtime;
  • Online services will always be available;
  • Third-party services will always be available;
  • Updates will be compatible with every device;
  • Data will never be lost or corrupted.

We may temporarily suspend or restrict access for:

  • Maintenance;
  • Updates;
  • Security reasons;
  • Technical problems;
  • Abuse prevention;
  • Legal requirements;
  • Third-party service issues;
  • Other operational reasons.

29. Updates and Changes to the Application

We may release updates, patches, fixes, improvements, or new versions of PP Expense.

Updates may:

  • Add features;
  • Remove features;
  • Change functionality;
  • Modify user interfaces;
  • Improve security;
  • Change technical requirements;
  • Modify third-party integrations;
  • Fix bugs;
  • Change subscription features.

You may need to install updates to continue using certain functionality.

We do not guarantee that every historical feature will remain available indefinitely.

30. Beta and Experimental Features

From time to time, PP Expense may offer experimental, beta, preview, or early-access features.

Such features may be:

  • Incomplete;
  • Unstable;
  • Subject to change;
  • Removed without notice;
  • Limited in availability;
  • More prone to errors.

You use experimental features at your own risk.

Unless otherwise stated, experimental features are provided without guarantees of continued availability or functionality.

31. Security

We implement reasonable measures intended to protect PP Expense and associated information.

However, no software, device, network, cloud service, or electronic transmission is completely secure.

You acknowledge that security risks may exist despite reasonable safeguards.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of:

  • Your device;
  • Device password or screen lock;
  • App Lock;
  • Google Account;
  • Google Drive;
  • Email account;
  • Exported files;
  • Backup files;
  • Payment accounts.

We are not responsible for security incidents caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control or by your failure to maintain appropriate security.

32. Privacy

Your use of PP Expense is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

Our Privacy Policy explains how information may be handled in connection with:

  • Local application storage;
  • Google Sign-In;
  • Google Drive;
  • Advertising;
  • Razorpay;
  • Subscriptions;
  • Analytics and diagnostics;
  • Support;
  • Data deletion;
  • Other services.

In the event of a conflict between these Terms and the Privacy Policy regarding privacy or personal-data processing, the Privacy Policy will generally govern those privacy-specific matters, subject to applicable law.

33. Account Security

If you create or use an account, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and associated credentials.

You must promptly notify us if you reasonably believe that:

  • Your account has been compromised;
  • Unauthorized access has occurred;
  • Your authentication information has been misused.

We are not responsible for unauthorized access resulting from credentials, devices, or accounts that you fail to protect.

34. Suspension or Termination

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to PP Expense where reasonably necessary, including if:

  • You materially violate these Terms;
  • You engage in fraudulent or abusive activity;
  • You attempt to compromise application security;
  • You use PP Expense unlawfully;
  • Your activity creates a security or operational risk;
  • Required by law;
  • Required by a third-party platform or service;
  • We discontinue the applicable service.

Where reasonably practical and legally permitted, we may provide notice before taking action.

Termination does not automatically eliminate obligations or liabilities that arose before termination.

35. Effect of Termination

Upon termination or discontinuation:

  • Your right to use the affected PP Expense services may end;
  • You may need to stop using the application;
  • Subscription access may be affected according to the applicable subscription terms;
  • Certain provisions of these Terms may continue to apply.

You remain responsible for information and copies that you independently maintain outside PP Expense.

36. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PP Expense is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

We do not make warranties that PP Expense will:

  • Be uninterrupted;
  • Be error-free;
  • Be completely secure;
  • Be available at all times;
  • Meet every user's requirements;
  • Produce completely accurate financial calculations;
  • Preserve every piece of user data;
  • Always successfully backup or restore information;
  • Be compatible with every device or operating-system version;
  • Remain unchanged;
  • Remain available indefinitely.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties, representations, and conditions not expressly stated in these Terms, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise.

Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty or statutory protection that cannot legally be excluded.

37. Financial Disclaimer

PP Expense does not provide financial, investment, tax, accounting, legal, banking, lending, insurance, or other professional advice.

Any:

  • Budget suggestion;
  • Financial summary;
  • Spending analysis;
  • AI-generated result;
  • Calculation;
  • Report;
  • Reminder;
  • Alert;
  • Recommendation;
  • Visualization

is provided as a software feature and should not be considered professional advice.

You are solely responsible for decisions made using information displayed by PP Expense.

38. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Publicity Poster and its owners, developers, employees, contractors, affiliates, licensors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or relating to your use of PP Expense.

This may include, to the extent legally permitted:

  • Loss of profits;
  • Loss of revenue;
  • Loss of business;
  • Loss of opportunity;
  • Loss of data;
  • Loss of financial records;
  • Loss resulting from inaccurate records;
  • Loss resulting from failed backups;
  • Loss resulting from failed restores;
  • Device damage;
  • Business interruption;
  • Security incidents;
  • Third-party service failures;
  • Reliance on financial information;
  • Subscription-related interruptions.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total aggregate liability arising from or relating to PP Expense will be limited to the amount you actually paid to Publicity Poster for the specific PP Expense service giving rise to the claim during the twelve-month period immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

If you have not paid any amount to Publicity Poster for the relevant service, the aggregate liability will, to the maximum extent permitted by law, be limited to INR 1,000.

This limitation does not apply where liability cannot legally be limited or excluded under applicable law.

39. Exceptions to Liability Limitations

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.

This includes any mandatory statutory rights or protections that apply to you.

Where applicable law prohibits a limitation contained in these Terms, that limitation will apply only to the maximum extent legally permitted.

40. Indemnification

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Publicity Poster, its owners, developers, employees, contractors, affiliates, licensors, and service providers from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses, including reasonable legal expenses, arising from or relating to:

  • Your violation of these Terms;
  • Your unlawful use of PP Expense;
  • Your misuse of the application;
  • Your violation of another person's rights;
  • Information or content you submit;
  • Fraudulent activity;
  • Unauthorized activity performed through your account or device;
  • Your violation of applicable law.

This section does not apply to the extent that the relevant claim results from our own liability that cannot legally be shifted to you.

41. Force Majeure

We will not be responsible for delays, interruptions, or failures caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Such circumstances may include:

  • Natural disasters;
  • Fire;
  • Flood;
  • Earthquake;
  • War;
  • Terrorism;
  • Government action;
  • Internet outages;
  • Telecommunications failures;
  • Power failures;
  • Cyberattacks;
  • Infrastructure failures;
  • Third-party service failures;
  • Cloud-service outages;
  • Platform restrictions;
  • Labor disputes;
  • Epidemics or pandemics;
  • Other events beyond our reasonable control.

42. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms from time to time.

Changes may be made because of:

  • New features;
  • Changes to PP Expense;
  • Changes to subscription services;
  • Changes to third-party integrations;
  • Legal or regulatory requirements;
  • Security improvements;
  • Business or operational changes.

When we make material changes, we may provide notice through the application, website, or other reasonable means where appropriate.

The updated version will include a new "Last Updated" date.

Your continued use of PP Expense after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

43. Governing Law

These Terms are intended to be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the applicable laws of India.

Subject to mandatory legal rights available to you, disputes relating to these Terms or PP Expense shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the appropriate courts in India.

Nothing in this section is intended to deprive you of any mandatory consumer or legal protection that cannot lawfully be excluded.

44. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, that provision will be interpreted or modified to the extent necessary to make it enforceable.

The remaining provisions will continue to remain effective to the fullest extent permitted by law.

45. No Waiver

If we do not immediately enforce a provision of these Terms, that does not mean that we waive our right to enforce that provision in the future.

Any waiver must be made in accordance with applicable law and, where appropriate, in writing.

46. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, Refund & Cancellation Policy, Acceptable Use Policy, and other applicable policies expressly incorporated into these Terms, constitute the agreement between you and Publicity Poster regarding your use of PP Expense, except where additional terms are expressly provided for a particular service.

47. Assignment

You may not transfer or assign your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent, except where such restriction is prohibited by applicable law.

We may assign or transfer our rights and obligations in connection with a merger, acquisition, restructuring, sale of assets, financing, or similar business transaction, subject to applicable law.

48. Notices

We may provide notices relating to PP Expense through:

  • The PP Expense application;
  • Our website;
  • Email;
  • In-app notifications;
  • Other reasonable electronic communication methods.
